'JD.ID Ramadan Sale X TikTok Live Streaming'

Challenge

The year 2021 is not an easy year for all industries due to the prolonged pandemic. Trends in society also change following developments. One of them is the trend of online shopping through the marketplace. JD.ID is one of the marketplaces that also provides the best service for the people of Indonesia.

When the holy month of Ramadan arrives, JD.ID has several development points that it wants to achieve, including:

  • Increase JD.ID brand awareness
  • Increase the number of followers of the official JD.ID account on the TikTok platform
  • Perform Live Streaming (Flash Sale) to increase the number of sales of selected product SKUs

Solution

  • Collaborate directly with TikTok Indonesia to conduct the first Live Streaming E-commerce on the TikTok Platform.
  • Looking for KOL / Influencers who have a strong and loyal follower / fan base on social media (Instagram and TikTok), and have a good disposition to do Live Streaming on the TikTok application.

Execution

  • Negotiating and also managing all matters related to KOL / Influencers who have been selected.
  • Creating Scope of Work (SOW) and also Scripts for each personnel who will be on duty, as well as other supporting matters during Live Streaming.
  • Looking for locations and teams to do Live Streaming.
  • Making the 1st Event Teaser which will be uploaded to the selected KOL / Influencer account, also to the official JD.ID account on Instagram and TikTok social media.
  • Arranging the implementation of health tests for each personnel on duty before the Live Streaming takes place to ensure that everything is in accordance with the provisions provided by the Government.
  • Do rehersal 1 day before the specified day for Live Streaming.
  • Create a 2nd Event Teaser which will be uploaded to the selected KOL / Influencer account, also to the official JD.ID account on Instagram and TikTok social media.
  • Provide assistance for KOL / Influencers who will be in charge of reading scripts that will be used during Live Streaming.
  • Make a 3rd Event Teaser which will be uploaded to the selected KOL / Influencer account, also to the official JD.ID account on Instagram and TikTok social media.
  • Controlling when the Live Streaming takes place and ensuring that every personnel does their job well and interacts with the audience in the form of giving a giveaway which is moderated by the KOL / Influencer on duty.
