The screening opened with video remarks from Wang Siping, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Indonesia, and Xu Jieqin, Director of Hotline Beijing, both of whom emphasized the importance of cross-border storytelling and acknowledged Nanyang Bridge Media’s efforts in making this collaboration possible.
The event also welcomed a number of respected guests from both Indonesia and China, including:

In his video speech, Attaché Wang Siping invited Indonesian audiences to watch Hotline Beijing and engage in conversations about building better cities for the future. “We hope this film will become a window for mutual learning and experience-sharing, and help us create more stories of human-centered urban governance.”
In her address, Mrs. Nouvarah Ahdiba, Head of the Foreign Broadcast News Team and Editorial Division at Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), stated, “RRI believes that media plays an essential role as a bridge between nations. Our collaboration with CMG is one of the concrete forms of that role.”
In his video remarks, Hotline Beijing director Xu Jieqin emphasized his hope that more international audiences, through this film, would see how Beijing seeks innovative ways to address urban challenges by listening closely to its citizens. He added, “This international screening means a great deal to us. The power of real images can truly transcend time, space, and cultural boundaries.”
PFN Corporate Secretary, Ihsan Chairdiansyah, shared, “PFN views this initiative as an important step to expand cultural and creative exchanges between Indonesia and China, while opening new avenues for dialogue within the film industry.”
Xu Yang, Deputy Director of the Media Convergence Department at the CMG TV and Film Dubbing Center, highlighted, “Shenzhou 13” is China’s first space film produced in 8K ultra-high-definition by China Media Group. “May the light of Shenzhou 13 brighten a new chapter of China–Indonesia friendship and cooperation! We warmly welcome you to visit China and experience our country firsthand.”
Mr. Sony, Chief Operating Officer of JAKTV, noted that the 75th anniversary of Indonesia–China diplomatic relations marks an important momentum to strengthen the roles of both countries and continue building on the historical and cultural ties that have connected the two nations for centuries.
With over 50 CMG programs already localized and distributed across multiple Indonesian TV networks and streaming platforms, this screening marks another milestone in Nanyang Bridge Media’s efforts to expand cultural connectivity and content exchange between Indonesia and China.
As the organizing partner behind this initiative, Nanyang Bridge Media remains committed to enabling cross-cultural dialogue, supporting international media partnerships, and introducing high-quality global content to Indonesian audiences.
