Background
The electric vehicle (EV) market in Indonesia has been growing rapidly, with increasing awareness about the environmental benefits and efficiency of electric transportation. Brands like Yadea are looking for innovative ways to increase their visibility and connect with a broader audience. One key strategy to gain traction is through the power of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers, who play a pivotal role in shaping consumer preferences and spreading brand messages.
Yadea, a leading electric scooter brand, recognized this opportunity and used two major milestones to fuel its marketing efforts. The first event, the grand opening of their showroom at Kramat Jati, Jakarta, marked an important entry into the Indonesian market. And a year later, Yadea hosted its 1st anniversary celebration at the same showroom, marking another important milestone in the brand’s journey. KOLs were invited to the store to create content that celebrated the event, engage with the brand, experience its products, share special promotions, and highlight the continued growth of Yadea in Indonesia. Their social media coverage helped to build initial awareness and drive foot traffic to the showroom, effectively positioning Yadea as a key player in the growing EV sector.
